GoPro and LG has gotten a great start with LG’s award-winning webOS Smart TV to curate the immersive imagery of GoPro.

GoPro continues to push the envelope with bringing consumers the ease of action entertainment. The companies made the announcement today at the 2015 International CES, the big tech trade show in Las Vegas this week. Both said the alliance would bring GoPro action videos to millions of owners of LG smart TVs.

For LG followers and alike, GoPro has a new channel available exclusively on LG webOS smart TVs. The app boasts an incredible list of 20 playlists including Top Picks, Deep Sea, Wild Animals, Short Films, Full Throttle and Behind the Scenes.

According to LG, the compatibility with Amazon, YouTube and Netflix are already included with support for 4K but new for this year is the GoPro Channel. The collaboration between LG and Netflix remains constant, as the company says its TVs will be among the first ones certified under the new “Netflix Recommended TV” program.

Entertainment is evolving rapidly into new formats and onto new platforms, and LG Smart TVs will provide a beautiful display for GoPro’s best original productions and user-generated content.  The GoPro Channel App will enable millions of LG Smart TV owners to experience life’s most incredible moments as captured on our HERO cameras.
