Born in Östersund, Jesper Tjäder is a Swedish freestyle skier who competes in slopestyle at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, in slopestyle.
Not long ago, GoPro gave test priviledges of Omni rig to team athletes like Jesper Tjäder and Halldor Helgason at the massive Nine Queens set-up in the Tyrolean Alps of Austria. You may also remember Jesper in KARMA pre-release videos in 2015.
Jesper shows us for the first time how easy it is to detach the HERO camera and use the stabilizer, also known as the Karma Grip. He also shows us footage filmed in various resolutions.
According to Jesper, he really liked the gimbal versatility on the KARMA. For most critics today are saying the DJI Mavic Pro is a better drone, but most of Mavic’s features are immaterial to the average user. Without a doubt, GoPro HERO5 camera is better and has many options like timelapse, burst mode, film + photo, and night mode.
Seen in the video, the KARMA user can change the resolution and FOV at whim. GoPro has announced a change in max flight distance to 3 kilometers – as you’ll see in the video Jesper takes full advantage of the improvements.
Get ready as the GoPro KARMA is expected to launch for consumers on October 23, 2016.
