I purchased this mount as the very first additional mount for my GoPro and was very happy with it right off the bat.

Built with a 1.5″ reach, which is handy for mounting on smaller-sized rollbars and some larger-diameter poles and pipes. The insert was nice as well for smaller-sized poles, but it wasn’t extremely secure.

It was very solid on the barrel of my paintball marker and on some longer poles used for filming at long-range, however on the roll-bar of my go-cart, it wobbled around to the point of rendering the footage unusable at some points.  I also feared for the strength at some points, as it flexes quite a bit when you tighten the screws down hard.

Overall the most versatile mount GoPro makes, I’d dare to say, but not without a few shortcomings.

The Good
This mount is definitely one that every GoPro user should have. It practically works on any pole, post, or tubular setup.

The Bad
I use this mount mountain biking and i wish it told you to always use one of the rubber pieces included to help grip the handlebar because without it the mount moves freely even when tightened all the way.

The Ugly
As with any plastic part. Expect it to break sometime. The clips are nice.
