Bocas del Toro is quietly becoming a priority destination for selective surfers worldwide. The name of the location was acquired by its surf breaks offering some of the best worldwide surf and has been highlighted in publications including Surfing Magazine, Storm riders, and Surfer Magazine.
One of the best parts about this paradise is that it is still largely undiscovered and you’ll have plenty of water to yourself. You’ll be surrounded by lush green primary forest with very clear blue water so you can often see the ocean floor beneath you as you cruise.
The tropical environment makes Bocas del Toro comparable to Indonesia or Tahiti. Check out the video by Chris Farro showcasing Panama’s Caribbean Surfing Mecca. Notice the warm, pristine waters with consistent seasonal swells. Characteristics of the waves in this spot are lots of lefts, some rights, beach breaks, reef breaks and even point breaks.
Already, content creators and enthusiasts in the GoPro community has expressed positive feedback for Farro’s latest creation. Transitions within the video are very smooth and seamlessly connected from one clip to another. The post editing of the videos relied on the subtle embellishments that were captured during the shoot.
Farro mentioned on YouTube that he can create the smoother transitions and make them look as if the video was shot in long takes. Just by connecting two clips that were joined with similar camera movements and the ‘swoosh’ sound effect invokes the compelling feel of the content.
