While diving is Moalboal’s raison d’être, a dizzying array of terrestrial activities in the area make this a prime destination for the adventurous traveller. And for beach bums there’s nearby White Beach, which unlike Panagsama has a decent beach.
Popular with locals, it’s subject to the usual flux of domestic tourist spots: relatively quiet during the week, it’s overflowing on weekends and holidays. White Beach is a 20-minute tricycle ride from Panagsama, or a 15-minute tricycle or habal-habal ride from Moalboal.
